Last month, the TrackHat sensor V2 head tracker turned 1 year old!
We thought it was time for a mid cycle refresh, and we've upgraded our custom hinge mechanism to include heat insert fittings for a longer lasting design.
Designing the TrackHat sensor was an interest task; we wanted the ideal small and unobtrusive package that was also as simple as possible for the user to set up.
This resulted in a simple small package design with some special features to optimize for head tracking.
